Architects for Society & People (ASP) is the group of architects, urban planners and social activists who are aiming to use their skills for social good. In the world, slum population is increasing. One out of eight urban population in the world, and one out of four people in developing countries are living in slums. More and more people are being affected by climate-related disasters and also by conflicts and wars. They are in urgent need of external support for rebuilding their settlement. ASP was established for supporting the people’s initiatives for slum upgrading, settlement improvement, and disaster recovery both in the cities of South Korea and developing countries. In the long term, ASP aims to contribute to strengthening communities and developing inclusive cities.
